Let’s resolve to focus on the things that matter most in 2024. The most successful financial advisors I worked with this year focused on high-payoff activities while delegating or dumping the 80% of activities that generate only 20% of revenue.

Make the decision right now that, going forward, you’ll increase the handful of activities that generated 80% of your business revenue over the past 12 months. Make the commitment to create more time by eliminating (delegating or dumping) the 80% of your activities that only generated 20% of your business revenue over the past 12 months.

For most businesses, the 80/20 rule is almost a cliche. It’s acknowledged but ignored by most businesses. So change that by taking the 80/20 rule more seriously. Making it the central force in your business over the next 12 months will result in your best year ever in 2024.
